TrueVision® consists of 3 hardware components: Image Capture Module, Image Processing Unit, and rear-projection 3D ergonomic display cart . The microscope is supplied by the customer.

Image Capture Module (3D HD Camera)

  • Module replaces eyepieces of customer’s common main objective (CMO) stereo microscope
  • Dual high-definition CMOS sensors with signal processing
  • 10-m Camera Link Cable (longer lengths available upon request)
  • TrueWare™ Camera software

Image Processing Unit

Rear-Projection 3D Display ergonomic cart

  • Dual 1280x720 3 chip LCD projectors
  • Projector stand with 3 axis adjustment
  • Dual polarizing glass filters
  • Proprietary stereoscopic rear-projection screen
  • Portable, ergonomic cart on wheels to store and transport all the TrueVision® components
  • View with lightweight, passive, comfortable polarized glasses
  • Medical grade UPS (uninterruptible power supply)
  • Maximum 750 watts total for all hardware components

TrueVideo™ 3D HD Recording

  • Two channel, high-definition recording and playback with basic functionality (record, play, pause stop)
  • State of the art RAID array with two terabytes of total disk space for multiple hours of 3D HD recording
  • 1280x720 and 1280x1024 selectable frame resolution
  • MPEG4 based xvid compression available
  • AVI file format for portability
  • User selectable frame rate:
        30, 20, 10, 5, and 1 FPS for 720P
        22.5, 15, 9, 5, and 1 FPS for 1024P
